Just a quick list of some new features and Firmware updates in the C1000 series capture agents.

Matterhorn 1.4 improvements

Added workarounds for linking with scheduled events in Matterhorn 1.4.

Logging improvements

Additional informational logging.  Improved exception reporting to
Entropy Wave.

Remote administration

When remote administration is enabled, the C1000 automatically creates
a secure connection to an Entropy Wave server, similar to a VPN, that
allows the C1000 to be managed remotely by an Entropy Wave engineer.
Having this feature available has allowed us to help new users get their
systems configured, as well as fix errors in manufacturing in the field.
Since the secure connection originates from the C1000, it is able to
get through most firewalls.

Kiosk mode

When the new kiosk feature is enabled on the C1000, the main web page
of the C1000 becomes a simple form for recording metadata with a start/stop
button, and (optionally) a selection of recent recordings for download.
When this pages is loaded on a tablet or other device, it provides a
simple and intuitive way for any lecturer to do non-scheduled recordings
either in a classroom environment or in a custom lecture recording room.
